Access to the Gift Store

The Gift Store module controls access to the Gift Store.

System roles determine the level of access:

manage Gift Store: Grants permissions to configure the store, create products, and view purchase statistics.
use Gift Store: Grants permissions to make purchases.

Viewing the Gift Store

You can access the Gift Store in the following ways:

From the Information menu: Gift Store > Store.

From the widget on the homepage (for more details, see Homepage Widgets).

From the widget in the user profile.

The user profile displays the current bonus balance. By clicking the View All button, the Gift Store page opens with the Purchased filter selected. To view all gifts, select the All tab.

Internal Currency

Items in the Gift Store can be purchased using internal currency (bonuses), which are earned by completing tasks. The number of bonuses a user can earn is specified on the task creation/editing page.

Note: If a user earns bonuses for completing a task and the task is later deleted or the assignment is removed from the user, the bonuses will remain in the user's current balance. Additionally, if the number of bonuses for completing a task is changed after users have already earned them, the number of bonuses in the users' accounts will not be adjusted.

If a user has already purchased a gift and reopens its card, a notification will be displayed in the gift card indicating that the gift has already been purchased.
