Requirements for client computers

Communication channel to the server from the web client

The communication channel used when working with the Collaborator system via the web client must meet the following requirements:

  • channel capacity 256 Kbit/s and more;
  • availability of a stable (uninterrupted) connection.`

Client computer requirements

LMS Collaborator is oriented to modern browsers according to the Browserslist configuration. We support the latest 5 versions of each of the major browsers, in particular Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others, that meet the specified criteria.

This configuration affects:

  • Code transformation so that it works correctly in the specified browser versions.
  • Automatic CSS and JS adjustment, ensuring stable application operation.

List of actual browsers as of June 2025:

  • Microsoft Edge 133 and newer;
  • Mozilla Firefox 135 and newer;
  • Google Chrome 133 and newer;
  • Safari 18.1 and newer;
  • Opera 113 and newer.

If you are using a browser that is not supported by the LMS Collaborator system (e.g. IE10, IE11), a message will be displayed:

This message will contain a link that will take you to the portal after installing the new browser.

Minimum hardware requirements for a computer to work:

Processor (CPU): 1,6 -2,4 GHz
Random access memory (RAM): 1 Gb
HDD/SSD: 300 Mb
OS:

  • Microsoft Windows 7 and newer;
  • Ubuntu 20 and newer;
  • MacOS 12 and newer;
  • iOS 15 and newer;
  • Android 8 and newer.
