Filing an application for career development
An employee can submit a request for professional development in the Development - Career Development menu.

The My requests page displays all requests submitted by the employee and their current status. To submit a new career development request, click the Apply request button.

After clicking on the Apply request button, the page of all available requests is displayed.The employee needs to select the required request from the list and click on its title to go to the request filling page.

On the Request page, the following fields are displayed for the employee to review and complete:

(1) – Title of career development request .
(2) – Description of request – responsibilities, job requirements and additional information for review.
(3) – List of criteria – specifies the requirements that an employee must meet for this position.
(4) – Request form – provide answers in the text fields. Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Other fields may be left empty.
(5) – Internal training events – specify the company’s training tasks that will support career development. To add multiple activities, click the Add (+) button.

option: Specify the topic of training manually – enter the training topic in the Title field and indicate the Planned completion period.

option: Select from the available training tasks in the system – choose a ready-made training task from the list of tasks created on the portal.
The Choose the competency filter allows you to filter tasks by the selected competency.
In the Training Task field, select a task from the drop-down list and specify the Planned completion period.
- the "Use in development plans" and the "Access via learning catalogs" setting is enabled for the task in the assignment mode. More details: Others assign methods users to tasks.
- the task has a valid completion period (the end date has not yet passed). More details: Task deadline.
(6) – External training events – specify training activities organized by external providers for career development. It is required to indicate the Training Title, Duration of the event and the Planned Completion Period. The Cost of training field can be filled in if necessary. To add multiple activities, click the Add (+) button.
(7) – List of my self-study activities – a list of specific steps taken for professional growth over a certain period of time (for example, over the past year). These may include books read, podcasts listened to, courses or training sessions attended, or successfully completed cases/projects.
(8) – Choose a mentor – choose a mentor from the drop-down list.
After completing all sections, click the Apply request button.
After submission, the request is submitted to the administrator or manager.
The administrator sees the new request and can Accept or Refuse it. If accepted, the administrator assigns an Personal Development Plan (PDP) or a learning path (if these options are provided in the template settings).
