Notification sending channels

The main channels for sending notifications to users on the LMS Collaborator portal:

The Portal Administrator can enable or disable the notification channel (except for MS Teams) for different events. Read more in the article: Notification templates setting.


Sending notifications via email messages

To send email notifications, you need to set up the Email integration.

The Collaborator system has prepared standard message templates. Read more in the article: Notification templates list.

If necessary, the Portal Administrator can edit the notification template and specify for which events email notifications will be sent. Read more in the article: Notification templates setting

The Portal Administrator can view all the messages (sent or with an error) in the E-mail log.

To send email notifications to users, you need to set up the Email integration.

Sending notifications via SMS

To send notifications from the portal via SMS, you need to set up the SMS integration.

If necessary, the Portal Administrator can edit the portal notifications, as well as specify for which events SMS will be sent. Read more in the article: Notification templates setting

The Portal Administrator can view all the messages (sent or with an error) in the E-mail log.


Sending notifications via Telegram

To send messages from the portal using Telegram, you need to set up the Integration with Telegram.

Sending notifications via Viber

To send messages from the portal via Viber, you first need to create an Integration with Viber bot and configure integration with it. Read more in the article: Integration with Viber.

The Collaborator system has prepared standard message templates. Read more in the article: Notification templates list.

If necessary, the Portal Administrator can edit the notification template and specify which events will be notified via Viber. Read more in the article: Notification templates setting

In order for the Users to receive notifications from the portal on Viber, they need to make settings in their Profile. Read more in the article: Security and notifications menu.


Sending notifications via MS Teams

To send notifications from the portal via MS Teams, you first need to create an MS Teams bot and set up integration with it. Read more in the article: Integration with MS Teams bot.

You can enable or disable the MS Teams notification channel for different events by contacting Collaborator Technical Support.

If necessary, the Portal Administrator can edit the message template. Read more in the article: Notification templates setting

In order for Users to receive notifications from the portal via MS Teams, they need to make settings in their Profile. Read more in the article: Security and notifications menu.
