Survey execution modes
All questions
Traditional mode, in which all questions are displayed in order, one by one. This mode is set by default when creating a survey and does not require specific settings.
By groups
In order to set up a survey with automatic transitions to different questions depending on the answer to the previous question with a single answer, you need to perform several steps.
- On the Creating Survey page select Execution mode - By groups.
-
Add questions to the survey.
-
From the Survey table, you need to go to Poll Settings.
As a result, a page with the Poll Structure opens.
The required number of groups must be added to the structure (1). After the first group is added, all questions are automatically moved to it.
-
You can move groups and individual questions in the survey structure using "drag-and-drop" (2). In this way, the groups can be established in the necessary order, and each question to the group to which it should belong.
-
In questions with a single answer, you can choose an Action (3) that will take place when each answer option is selected. For example, if opposite to the third option "Neutral" you set the Action - transition to Group 3, then when the user chooses the answer option "Neutral" during the survey, he will be immediately redirected to the question of group 3, bypassing other questions that are not relevant for such a scenario. This way, you can create multi-level branching surveys.
